Herdade do Cebolal Clarete 2022

You can feel winemaker Luis Mota Capitão’s respect for the grapes and his land in this naturally vinified and unfiltered Clarete from 100% Castelão. A beautiful light summery red, with a refreshing nose of red berries, apple and a little spicy-smokiness to boot. This wine surprised us with its understated complexity. We like to serve it lightly chilled with grilled oily fish and an apple salad where its crisp acidity really shines. Yum!
